Executive Summary: CoordiPro operates locally on your workstation inside Autodesk AutoCAD. We do not collect, inspect, transmit, or store your CAD drawings, geometries, annotations, metadata, or design files (.dwg / .dxf). We never sell your personal data or share it with advertising networks.
All coordinate calculations, frame mappings, and multileader placements are performed entirely in your local AutoCAD memory.
Purchases and licensing are processed by Lemon Squeezy, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant merchant of record.
Shipbuilding configurations and project presets are saved exclusively on your local workstation.
1. Information We Process & Operational Architecture
CoordiPro adheres to strict data minimization and privacy-by-design principles. The application is an in-process plugin for Autodesk AutoCAD and operates under the following conditions:
- Zero CAD Telemetry: All coordinate evaluations, frame offset conversions (e.g., FR54+250), centerline calculations, deck height referencing, and Multileader (MLeader) entity placements execute strictly on your local computer. Active project links are saved directly into the active drawing database (.dwg) using standard AutoCAD Named Objects Dictionaries (DBDictionary / Xrecord). No drawing geometry, coordinates, or proprietary project structures are ever transmitted externally.
- Payment & Order Processing (Lemon Squeezy): All orders, checkout transactions, invoicing, and tax/VAT calculations are securely managed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. BoostWorkLab never collects, sees, or stores your credit card, debit card, or banking credentials.
- License Activation & Seat Validation: When activating or verifying a license key, the application communicates securely over HTTPS (TLS 1.2/1.3) with our license-validation API (hosted on Vercel), which checks the key with Lemon Squeezy. It transmits only your license key and an anonymized hardware identifier hash. This hash is a cryptographically salted SHA-384 digest generated locally on your machine, and it is used solely to enforce single-user or multi-seat license activation limits.
- License Details Received: When a license is activated or checked, Lemon Squeezy returns the details of your purchase: the name and email address entered at checkout, your plan name, the number of seats used and allowed, and the license expiry date where one applies. CoordiPro shows these on the Licensing tab and keeps a copy with the encrypted license data on your computer (see below); it does not send them anywhere else.
- Offline Grace Period & Data Security: Cached license tokens and validation states are encrypted on your workstation using the Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI) with current-user scope, allowing seamless offline CAD workflows for up to 3 days without continuous internet connectivity.
- Local User & Project Presets: Project parameters (including frame intervals, deck elevations, longitudinal offsets, text styles, arrowheads, and landing gaps) are stored locally on your workstation at %APPDATA%\CoordiPro\coordipro_projects.json. This data is used solely by your local AutoCAD sessions and is never uploaded.
- Trial Period Tracking: During the 30-day evaluation period, CoordiPro stores an encrypted trial start/last-used timestamp pair, cryptographically signed to detect tampering. This timestamp pair is stored in two local locations on your workstation, the Windows Registry (under the BoostWorkLab key) and a data file in your Windows user profile, so that clearing one of them does not disrupt normal trial operation. This data never leaves your computer and contains no drawing or personal information beyond the timestamps themselves.
- User-Initiated Feedback & Diagnostics: If you choose to submit feedback or bug reports via the Configuration dialog (CPCONFIGURATIONS), the text you provide is transmitted. Only if you tick the diagnostics option in the form are basic diagnostic details sent with it: AutoCAD version, OS version, CoordiPro version, license validity status, a masked license key, and your anonymized instance ID. If you optionally provide a reply-to email address, that is transmitted as well. The submission is delivered by email to our support mailbox. This action is entirely voluntary and user-initiated.
- Subscription Management: The “Manage or cancel subscription” link opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal in your web browser. Signing in there (with a link sent to your email address) and any changes you make are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy; CoordiPro itself sends nothing when you open the link.
- Zero Tracking SDKs: CoordiPro contains no background telemetry beacons, marketing trackers, advertising SDKs, or keystroke loggers.
2. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics companies. We only interface with trusted operational service providers necessary for billing, licensing, support, and distribution:
- Lemon Squeezy: Merchant of record handling order processing, PCI-DSS compliant payment processing, and license seat management. (Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy)
- Vercel: Hosts our serverless license-validation and feedback API endpoints. Vercel processes your request IP address transiently for abuse and rate-limiting protection; it is not stored beyond routine infrastructure logs. (Vercel Privacy Policy)
- Resend: Delivers feedback and support emails you voluntarily submit through the Configuration dialog, including the message text, optional reply-to email address, and diagnostic details described in Section 1. (Resend Privacy Policy)
- Autodesk App Store: If downloaded via the Autodesk App Store, distribution and account access are governed by Autodesk's Terms of Service and Privacy Statement. (Autodesk Privacy Statement)
- GitHub: Hosts our public documentation pages (including this policy and the EULA) and the CoordiPro setup installer download, over secure HTTPS. (GitHub Privacy Statement)
Each of these providers receives only the data it needs for the service described above and is bound by its own privacy policy and data-processing terms to protect that data at least as well as this policy does. We do not allow them to use your data for their own marketing.
Some of these providers are located in, or process data in, the United States. Where required by applicable law, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, as implemented by each provider.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
- Licensing Records: License activation records and anonymized hardware associations are retained by Lemon Squeezy for the duration of your subscription and afterwards only as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
- Feedback & Support Emails: Feedback and support messages, including any diagnostic details and reply-to email address, are kept for up to 24 months after the conversation ends, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Server Logs: Our license and feedback API has no database and does not save your requests. IP addresses and seat lookups are held briefly in memory for rate limiting and seat checks; routine infrastructure logs are kept by Vercel for its standard short retention period and then deleted automatically.
- Local Storage Removal: You can remove locally stored project presets and error logs at any time by deleting the folder %APPDATA%\CoordiPro.
- License & Trial Data Erasure: Your encrypted license and trial-tracking data are additionally stored in the Windows Registry and in your Windows user profile, so that this data remains available for normal license and trial operation even if one storage location is cleared. Uninstalling CoordiPro does not remove this data automatically. To request full erasure of this data, first deactivate your license from within the application, then contact support@boostworklab.com; we will verify your request and provide guided removal instructions.
- Drawing Metadata: Project reference dictionaries stored inside your CAD files remain entirely under your control and can be removed from any .dwg drawing at any time.
- Complete Uninstallation: Uninstalling CoordiPro via Windows Settings / Add-or-Remove Programs removes the application binaries, the autoloader bundle, the help page and the CoordiPro ribbon panel from your computer. AutoCAD may keep an inactive reference to the CoordiPro customization file in its own settings; it contains no personal data and has no effect once CoordiPro is removed. Uninstalling does not remove the license/trial data or local files described above, or files you have created in your drawings.
4. Your Rights & Legal Compliance
BoostWorkLab is the Data Controller for the personal data described in this policy. We process this data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (license activation and validation), legitimate interest (rate-limiting and abuse prevention), and consent (optional feedback submissions and the optional email address provided with them).
This policy is designed to align with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of their personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, including deletion of your data or withdrawal of consent, contact support@boostworklab.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Because we do not collect or store your CAD drawings, geometries, or design telemetry, you retain full ownership and control over your design data at all times.
CoordiPro is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16.
